Dr. Farringer has lived and worked in Reno almost half his life, moving here in 1991 following his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at The Ohio State University. He graduated from Manchester University (North Manchester, IN) in 1981, and Indiana University School of Medicine in 1985. Before discovering that he was really meant to be an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, he completed his Family Practice Residency at South Bend Memorial Hospital in 1988. Dr. Farringer is married and has two teenagers, two German Shepherds, and one cat. When not playing with his family and pets, he enjoys running, skiing, tennis, golf, landscape architecture, and home remodeling. He has been Board-Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1993.

Dr. Najima joined Sierra Women’s Health in 2001 following completion of her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of New Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at San Diego, and her Master’s degree from the University of Nevada-Reno. Dr. Najima received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. In 1991 she began her service with the Air National Guard. Dr. Najima was a flight surgeon at the time of her retirement in 2006. Dr. Najima has two adult children who are now both enjoying the college experience. In spite of a very busy practice, she still finds time to snow ski and play tennis competitively.
Margo joined Sierra Women's Health on April 4th, 2016 and has grown as a provider in gynecology over the last five years. She strives to create a safe and positive environment for all her patients.

Margo moved from a small island town in Alaska to attend the University of Nevada, Reno.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Dietetics in 2000. As a critical care dietitian, she worked in the Trauma ICU and cardiac unit at Washoe Medical Center. After four years of hospital experience, Margo decided to pursue an education as a physician assistant (also known as an Advanced Practice Provider) and moved to Oregon to attend Pacific University.
She graduated with a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2006. Margo returned to Reno and accepted a job at Saint Mary's emergency department,
serving the Reno community for 11 years.
Margo is married, and she has two young sweet boys, Caiden and Logan, and a Griffon named Roxy. They enjoy spending time adventuring around the outdoors and traveling to new places.
In her spare time, Margo enjoys
learning guitar, singing, and running.
Alyssa joined Sierra Women’s Health in 2022 after obtaining her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Sciences, Kinesiology as well as a minor in Psycholog
Alyssa joined Sierra Women’s Health in 2022 after obtaining her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Sciences, Kinesiology as well as a minor in Psychology. Alyssa found her passion for women’s health and preventive medicine primarily through her education back East and her clinical experiences in Breast Surgery/Oncology, Obstetrics and Gynecology. Alyssa is keen on bringing a humanistic approach to her practice.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys any outdoor adventure including hiking, traveling, relaxing at the Tahoe beaches, snowboarding, and golfing. She also loves spending time with her boyfriend, family, and of course her pups, Ember and Remington.
